My PSP and Me

Sorry for the complete lack of updates, but seriously, who cares that much?

All the same, here are some tidbits from my oh, so exciting life?.

I was fortunate enough to run across an incredible deal for a PSP the day before I left for E3. $200 from an incredibly generous guy at work and that so happened to be the amount I received in the Princess PSP Fund. I went ahead and dropped the $50 for a game myself and I was dropping colorful boxes in no time.

Now here?s where things get a lil more complicated?

As ya?ll know, I went to E3 this year and had a really great time. I hope to go again next year, but hope that trip will be a bit more uneventful than this last jaunt to LA. Shortly after arriving at our hotel, I realized my wallet had decided it had other travel plans. I?m pretty positive it is still wedged between the seat cushions making its way around the world on American Airlines, but that does little to comfort me. I lost $250 in cash and a $100 Target gift certificate, not to mention my only photo ID and various other sentimentals I managed to wedge in that tiny lil red leather wallet. I spent an interesting couple of hours at the Downtown LA Police Station and pretty much breezed through airport security without any photo identification (this made me happy and also scared the shit out of me at the same time).

Fuckin Karma.

This is what happens when you beg on the internet for money and prizes! This is what happens when you think you have The System beat!

Ah well, such is life, right? But I can say this, dear reader?I really do love my PSP.

If you?d like to make a donation so I can get some games, please click?.

Ah fuck it.

How about some donations for a new wallet? How about asking someone to volunteer to stand in line for you at the DMV until your turn is up!
8-)

HEY WELCOME BACK, I HAVE MISSED YOUR POSTS. JUST THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW. THE AIRLINE NEVER FOUND IT HUH? THAT BLOWS! AND I WOULD STAND IN LINE FOR YOU AT THE DMV ANY DAY!!!!

Sorry to hear this - and sorry I didn't get back to you. Right at E3, life played the crazy card over here. Details later, film at 11 ;)

Good luck with the DMV!

"MS development environment has not been installed for the current user" message.

I have been using Visual Studio .Net for 2 years until a week ago when the $hit hit the fan.

I have tried just about everything. I even used one of the two free tech support and called Microsoft for help. No help as yet.

I read princes' comment on that but I have trouble understanding it. You mentioned

msiexec /x :drive where CD/DVD is loaded:\vs_setup.msi

but where is msiexec located? Search gives me 4 references. Can you be more specific, such as giving me the exact command?

Thanks.

That is the command I use:

msiexec /x :drive where CD/DVD is loaded:\vs_setup.msi

msiexec is just a Windows Installer call and should work as typed above.

Let me know how it works out...
