The Bet: Walk over and stand next to said Team Lead, currently involved in a hallway meeting. Smile, then without a word, reach into the popcorn bag he is holding, grab a handful and chow down. *Optional follow up with a sly lil wink.
The Payoff: 20 bucks for having monster sized balls and a silly sense of humor OR the loss of job security for being rude and uncivilized.
After accepting The Bet, The Farm Boy and I waltzed out of The Fort and found the gaggle of video game makers had broken their huddle and thus, another ?Let?s make the day more interesting,? moment ceased to exist. Man, I was so ready...
