Not Just an 80's Movie
It?s Free Preview week here in The Palace.
My local digital cable company is offering even more channels for my perusing pleasure. Among the lineup is The National Geographic Channel, The Discovery Channel in Spanish and Nickelodeon?s Games & Sports network.
So I?m a flippin and flippin and the Nickelodeon G&S channel has old episodes of ?Double Dare? . The nostalgia sets in enough for me to devote a few moments of idle time to this trip back to the Green Slime Era. The Final Challenge approaches and one of the prizes is a trip to Space Camp.
That got me to thinkin and you know that brings about interesting things for all of us, right? Right?? I wonder if anyone that has gone to Space Camp ever become an astronaut? After a bit of Googling around the world, I find this article. Bummer. No alumni have yet to cross the Final Frontier.
But don?t lose hope dear reader, there are millions of space miles to cover and one or two lucky lil campers will make it.

It was Marc Summers(?)!
It was so much fun to watch. Much better than that sellout "Double Dare Family" :)

Marc Summers, who it turns out was obsessive compulsive and hated being dirty. Apparently doing the show for him was a real chore. He now hosts some show on the Food Network that usually covers things like cookies and candy.

Yeah, that was Funhouse. I remember that too!
I checked the lineup on the station and no Funhouse episodes :( I didn't realize how many Double Dare shows there were. Check it out:
